I’m Karin Tessa, founder and Director of Owners Corporation Advocacy (OCA).

The processes and responsibilities of Owners Corporations (formerly known as Body Corporates) can be difficult to navigate. I founded OCA in order to achieve better outcomes for both owners and residents living in shared communities.

With over 10 years of experience in the industry I have first-hand knowledge as a committee member, owner and manager. I have worked diligently over the years to acquire the expertise needed to run a successful strata management business. I recognised an absence in the industry of a service that can provide advice, guidance and practical solutions to the many problems faced by owners and committee members under Owners Corporations. I sought to change that by founding a strata management business that understands these challenges and has the practical wherewithal to do something about it.

We at OCA care about your experience as an owner in a residential or commercial shared community, and we seek to enhance it.

That’s what OCA is all about.

OCA’s aim is not to be the biggest player in the industry. We seek to share our expertise with you. Our experienced team are ready to guide you through the complex issues that Owners Corporations may face on a day-to-day basis.

Far from the ‘supermarket’ approach of some of the bigger players, we offer a boutique service with personalised attention that the giants just can’t match.

We make it our priority to answer your calls, return your emails and provide you with strategic guidance and proactive solutions. We use the latest software including an easy-to-use phone app that enables owners to access key documents, check levies and report maintenance issues.
